The Riverbend Crocodile Farm was officially opened in 1981 and has by now hosted over 1.5 million visitors, establishing itself as a major tourist attraction on the South coast.

The farm is open daily with the exception of Good Friday and Christmas Day and the operating hours are from 09:00 to 16:30 daily.

Home to over 200 adult nile crocodiles and numerous juveniles of all sizes, tourists to the crocodile farm are able to view the crocodiles in beautifully landscaped enclosures, designed to resemble their natural habitat. besides the crocodiles there are also numerous bird species that make the crocidle farm their home.
